I'm new to this thread but not new to this forum and I need some information. I have looked and searched on TBN and Googled and I am looking for a Service or Parts Manual for a Century C47L. This is my neighbors tractor that he wants me to service, lube, oil change, hydro change... the basic stuff. I know I can remove the filters and have them matched but I was hoping I could cross-reference them so i don't have to run all over creation looking for the right stuff.

Here's what I know:

Century C47L
Purchased as 2006 Model
Engine: A2300NZ (Cummins I am told-correct if wrong please)

I have been told this is the same as a Zetor C47L (DAH-HA) and another Branson model. Which one?

Can anyone give me the specs on this tractor? I need filter make and numbers, oil and hydro capacities and viscosity and any other service information available. My closest Branson dealer is 111 miles away (acording to web-site) so I would like to get these items locally.

Thanks so much.
Keith

PS: I don't know how I get roped into doing these "Good Deeds", but I do. I need to stop being so meticulus and do somthing wrong every now and again. :>)

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help.

Does anyone have an owners manual, service manual or parts manual in PDF? I really could use one, or all for that matter.

Does anyone know if the Branson 4720H is the same as the Century C47L? What about the Zetor Compact? Is this still available? I don't see it on the web site.

Thanks again,
Keith

Owners manual as .pdf file, "shop" manuals in hard copy only.
If there is something SPECIFIC you need from the shop manuals I can scan it, but please keep this to a minimum.

I would GUESS the "H" in the model represents hydrostatic.

I would need your e-mail address to send the .pdf file, you would need to set your mail server to accept attachments larger than 4 Megabytes.

Let me know.

PS, this is an OPEN invitation on the owners manual.
e-mail me at 2regburgess@earthlink.net
expect but ignore any spam rejection message, I will read your message while it is being held as "suspect".

PPS I also have the Humpolec loader and Amerequip back hoe owners manuals in .pdf
I believe the Humpolec was only offered on the Century brand name, although some dealers might have put them on Bransons.

EDIT:
I guess this is a PPPS.
I just browsed the .pdf file of the owners manual.
It cover C29, C35, C38L, C42L and C47L
The 29 and 35 are the "small" frame models and that shows in the specs.
The 38L, 42L and 47L are the "LARGE" frame models and it is my guess that the L stands for LARGE.

This kinda/sorta reinforces my guess that H is for hydrostatic, which were introduced just after American Jawa stopped the Century line IIRC.

END EDIT
