Cessna filter adapter info???

Hey guys!
My ol' MF40 backhoe...has a Cessna hydraulic filter adapter on it.
I'm almost positive it has the wrong filter type in it. I bought a new filter for it when I first got it.... i used the part # off the old filter. It just didn't seem to fit right.
The mechanic I had work on my hydraulic system said I should have never put a paper type replacement filter in this machine anyway...he said I should get a SS screen type as my system seems plauged with a bit of moisture and he figures the paper filter is freezing when the machine sits. The thing doesn't work right until the oil gets really hot..I believe him
So.. I'm going to get the new filter but I can't find any info on these adapters so I can order the correct filter. I googled it and can only find aircraft info.
It's a Cessna #62700-200 adapter(canister type).
Anyone have a source for this info?

Thanks Don! Well...that would get me the proper paper filter. Any suggestions how I could now find a stainless screen filter for the same replacement #?

Can't help you Russ but just wanted to ask: What's a machinist doing on a tractor forum?

As far as moving slow when cold; are you using the correct hydraulic oil?

Google Ezy Flo filters. A couple years ago they carried cannister filters with a mesh filter.

Hey Ken! How you doin? LOL! I'm here cuz I never built my own tractor like some people i know!
According to the mechanic I do have the correct fluid in it. He says I'll prolly always have trouble with condensation in this thing just because of the way they build the tank(part of the frame)
It was ok til it started freezing hard everyday.

I'll call my supply house and see if they can round me up one of those.
