I have started using the Ford brand cetane boost in my 2014 F250 6.7 engine.
Has anyone found that this additive or any additive has helped to lower the exhaust cleaning frequency or made the exhaust sensors last longer?
(Our work trucks seems to have less problems than mine, but I really think it's is because they are worked harder and the engine runs all day with no shut downs)
Thoughts?

That's funny. I corrected the title, but don't know how to delete this thread.

PLEASE POST IN TITLE THAT SAYS CETANE.

Maybe the moderator can delete this one.....

Almost all day and no Mod attention noticing double postings? I think we need more mods around here :)

I'm going to assume (I know, I know) that most refineries make their cuts the same way we do here in SLC. Minimum Cetane is 40 and we are typically over 50 Cetane on all finished #2ULSD. So I would not add Cetane improver if that is your only goal with the additive.

There's too many double posts to deal with.

Whats the deal with getting all these doubel posts on threads? Some times you click twice sometimes it asks you to leave a page ( i never know what to answer ) and if you answer wrong it double posts??? This was a problem with software chageover like 5-6 years ago. Why has that not been solved? Sometimes i get a warning like this is a duplicate post of one in the last 30 seconds and it corrects it. But i see far to many folks including some of our top contributers that keep getting double posts to know its not operator error.

Agreed, I use Power Service year round as an additive for the other benefits. The Cetane boost is just a bonus.

When it asks you if you want to leave the page answer yes. Even if you dont want to leave. IF in the end it still double posts, then just go into edit and eliminate one. 'DELETE' works good. You don't even have to explain why you deleted the second post.
