Chain hooks and D-rings on my FEL installed

Found a piece of flat plate and welded the d-rings to that.

Then welded a 5/16 hook on each outer side of the bucket.

I need to cut my chain down a bit. The setup works great. The D-rings hang in a way to very rarely rattle.


The first need was a way to secure my trashcan to the bucket when taking out to the street from the house. The second was a way to otherwise use the hooks and chain effectively, of course.

Tractor is a Mahindra 3016 with the ML115 bucket/loader.

Looks good. I am always finding new uses for my d rings and hooks.

We welded hooks on the front bucket. They worked great. We traded the tractor another one (old was shuttle-shift ... new is HST).

First time we needed to lift something we realized just how handy those hooks really were and how much we used them and now miss them.

Will have to weld hooks on the new one :thumbsup:

My Simple solution. I did not want to weld directly to the bucket. I use a light weight 1/4 inch chain for most of my chores. Lifting anything up to about 500 to 600 pounds. The smaller chain is easy to handle and takes up less space on the floor board of the Tractor.
