Greetings!
I don't know if this would help anyone but I bought some 2 x 4 Fibreglass rectangular tubing to fabricate a saw mount for my tractor (it could be used on trailers, trucks, benches you name it). Unfortunately I was only able to buy it in 20' lengths so I have about 18' leftover. All I did with mine was drill 2- 3/4" holes on one side of four inch dimension and 2-1/4" holes in same location on the other side. Then I used a 1/4 bolt to mount the tractor and accessed the head through the 3/4" inch hole to tighten. The tubing is real solid fiberglass and is UV resistant. You could paint it or leave it raw. It makes a real clean mount that will hold your saw securely when mounted in the vertical position but does not dull the teeth. I would sell it in any length you want (I used 16" for mine) for $16 per foot plus shipping. I will even drill the holes if you want.
email rockman@tds.net if you are interested.
