So i'm trying to come up with a storage solution for my 1626. I've thought about the vertical PVC pipe That I've seen before but i'm just not sure about where i would mount it. Has anyone on here done anything with the 1626 or 1526 tractors in that as far as Chain storage? Show me what you got.

Not real familiar with your model, but what about wrapping it around the 2 uprights on your roll bar?

You mean just chain itself? I could wrap it but I've got marker lights attached to it and I think I would end up knocking them off. Or it would be to a point where I couldn't fold my ROPS down.

I have 5 ton bucket hooks that I wrap my chains around. There is videos on YouTube that can can watch too about storage options. I dont have a lot of tools in my onboard tool box that I put a chain in occasionally also. Just some ideas I've seen and done.

So if you look at the pictures, I'm concerned about putting the chain around the ROPS, those Amber marker lights are kinda flimsy. I would be concerned they would be batted off if the chain slipped. Not to mention if i went with the chain on the rops there is no where i can really put it on the lower unfolding part of them. Once my garage is cleaned out she is getting parked in there. So some other places i was looking at where on the right side next to my third function there is some space where a PVC pipe could fit but i'm concerned that i might not be able to complete depress my brakes, (Granted i don't use them that much *hydrostat*), and the other sided has a bracket underneath it but i would need to do more fabricating to make it fit correctly. What are your thoughts? I'm looking at storing 2 20 ft chains. I want them on the tractor so i can use them for moving, and i can use them to strap down the tractor on the trailer as well.

This is what I did. Plus I have a tool box where a chain fits perfectly!20180901_103036.jpeg20180901_103043.jpeg

Thats pretty slick Owen. Do you like those bolt on hooks vs weld on? Does the chain rattle a lot there?

It rattles a little bit. Those are 10,000 pound hooks or 5 ton hooks. I got them for 6.99 per hook at Harbor Freight. Weld on hooks are 4 or 5 dollars then you have to weld them. Or you can buy them online for 19.99 already welded on a base and then bolt them on. For 6.99 I got the bolts with it. All i had to do was drill the holes and tighten them down. They say weld on hooks the day are good for 3 ton. Long story short, I love them! Harbor Freight has 50 lynch pins of various sizes for 7.99 at times. Just as an FYI. There is pluses and minuses to everything. I have had quite a load on the hooks and they have held up. People may say crazy things about Harbor Freight, but you always need to choose for yourself what you get and dont get there.

I think i would need to make some modifications to my bucket for that set up. I wouldn't want the chains dangling down in the bucket but i don't really have a good spot on the back to put hooks in. At least none that are functional where i could still use it for lifting; not just holding the chain. And your right harbor freight has great deals on that stuff. Especially compared to Tractor Supply.

Ya I see that you dont have the best set up for hooks like mine. There is a place that has spacers for hooks so you can still bolt on hooks. Look up Kubota Bolt on hooks. I think it is Ken's bolt on hooks. Look that up I think you'll like that.
