chain type hoist/come-a-long

Picked up an old coffing hoist today. Uses the motor cycle type chain, 1.5 ton capacity. Man this thing is sweet sure beets the cable type.. So anybody have expierence with these??

What is a coffing hoist? Or do you mean 'coffin hoist' as in one used to lower coffins into the ground? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
