Sorry to post again on buying a chain saw, but I remember somebody mentioning a good online store. Ive searched the threads but unable to find it.

Go to www.new.arboristsite.com. There is a section on equipment dealers where you can find many.

Try Bailey's Husqvarna Chainsaw, Logging and Woodsman Supply. When my father was alive he would by supplies from them, but he ran Stihls and bought them local for service. I'm not a big Husqvarna fan (Please no flames) but I have a decent local dealer and the closest Stihl dealer is farther than I care for.

Sounds like a good business opportunity.... I've got both saws, and my Stihl is awesome.

Don't know what the original link/vendor was, but I have bought a couple of Husqvarna's from these guys (357XP and a 142) and was happy with price. They usually have somehting for fre e.g. free shipping or 2 free chains. Right now it is chains.

I don't know where you live but if it's Kalifornia you will need a CARB compliant saw.

Yes, but it changed to "new...." a year or two ago. It comes up either way on my computer but then it is pretty well established in 'history' I never know if it would come up as just arboristsite on a computer that had never seen it before.
