I hate to beat up a dead horse, but I agree with all the above. I found out that if I kick up the rpm just a bit, things head out the chute a lot better.
Last year, I found out what my Bear Cat 3" Chipper/Shreder will do to a pair of almost new fence pliers.
When the chipper got through making a racket, and spat out the fence pliers, I said to myself, "Oh, this is where I must have left those!".......... As you can assume, I had to go buy another pair of fence pliers - and I had to replace a shaft that was bent in the carrasel (sp) thingy.
