Last night my neighbor asked if Id like to clean up one of my hay fields using his 3910. I jumped at the chance (of course) and used it for several hrs. I must say this sure is a good size tractor as a 2nd for teddering/raking and moving equipment around.

The one I used was a 'vanilla' 2wd 3910 w/ an 8x2. I noticed though that they can be had in a II model. Whats the difference? Were there any other transmissions other than the 8x2? Anyone know what the loader lift capacity is?

I can't remember for sure but I think there is more then a 8x2 available. My friend has around 20 3910's and 3930's. I get confused which one I am running most of the time. These are mostly narrow models though but are great utility tractors if you can find a nice one (not abused).

Actually the 3930 would be a good choice too. Would love to have access to one. In this area though that size tractor is in great demand so they don't linger on the lot. OTOH running the 3910 was pretty fun...my son also agreed. In fact he used it mostly allowing me a bit of seat time. Its really problematic to have 2 tractor lovers in the same family.

(Old thread, looking an answer to gauge problem) If i understand 3930 have better rear end than 3910.
