I have a habit (my neighbors think I need professional help) of getting a new Deere or two every year and this year I struggle with the decision (purchase a 3320 or 3520 or get something more practical, 2320 or 2520). Regardless what I purchase the size exceeds my needs and I enjoy very much mowing with a CUT. I played around on the 3320/3520 and realize quickly it drifted too far from my primary desire, mowing and without question was great in terms of loader capabilities. After some discussion with my sales guy, he asked how the 2320 was fitting into my life and I said, I really wanted to see a big difference and I did realize some nice improvements, but didn’t have that overwhelming feeling this was the right machine, so he agreed to flip me back. Hence, I now have the 2210 back, and really like this guy. I’m now leaning towards keeping this guy and just biting the bullet and get something of significant size, ie., a 110TLB.

The wife is going to shoot me.

johndeere_2210,

Welcome back into the fold! As you and I have discussed many times, these 2210's really do have a lot of "attitude". I guess I'm not getting those spacers anytime soon!

WHAT?? You can't do that... you're suppose to buy bigger NOT bring back your smaller tractor... Enjoy your NEW tractor... again :)

Though I'm sure JDfanatic would agree... you should have gone for the 4010 not a measley little 2210... :D

I've been away from the forum for several weeks. And the tractor has sat idle in the shed too. Snug as a bug in a rug. I went with the 2305 mostly because I would have to have a shoe horn to squeeze anything bigger in and a can opener to get it back out. And what do you know that Bad Little Boy does everything I need it to just fine. That aside....

John Deere 2210 you are my hero! Finally someone puts a stop to this nonsense that bigger tractors are better. The real truth is that MORE TRACTORS ARE BETTER!

I've come to the conclusion that the jobs on my seven acres that my 2305 can't handle are meant for an excavator, commercial backhoe and dump truck. SAY NO TO BIGGER, SAY YES TO MORE!
