change shaft rotation on 2stage wood splitter pump

Has anyone done this. I have flipped the center section on a lot of pumps to change rotation direction, but i have never tried it with a log splitter 2 stage pump. Aways considered them throw away pumps and have never had one apart. I know they sell this type pump with cw and ccw rotation so just wondering if you can just flip the center section to change rotation. I know some gear pumps can only be changed if you add more parts so this isnt a automatic slam dunk just flip it and it works deal.

Where is the unloading - sequence valve located on your pump? If this would also be oriented correctly then I believe that you could change the rotation.
