change the brake fluid?

/ change the brake fluid? #11
A friends 10 year old Ford has web brakes and his filters kept clogging. It was the wet brake material flaking apart and traveling through the system. They had to split the tractor, replace the brakes, and drain, flush and refill the entire system. He doesn't use the tractor very often, and this was an expense that he hadn't planned for.

To repair the brakes, his tractor did not need split, but the axle housings were removed. The flaking apart of the brake discs was from either water in his transmission and rear end or he was using a poor hydralic oil. Most likly if he hardly uses his tractor it was water.
