Kubota L-39
Had to replace Brake Case Housing for second time on my L-39 Kubota. While using boxblade I broke the pad eye on the housing where side link pins up. Being my second time it was a little easier this time. The L-39 has a heavy duty frame that must be unbolted and lowered down in order to first take axel housing off. Then you take brake housing off. What I did different this time was leave 1 bolt on the front side of the frame on each side and lowered frame down with a jack. Lucky my shed has a dirt and gravel floor because I had to dig down a little bit to get frame low enough. This made raising the frame easier going back up and lining up the mounting bolts.I will post pictures later

All right, I haven't had problems with them here and you seem to be having to many problems. Is it just with one side that's broke?

On a different note, we're just getting ready to book a trip. Where are you located, we were in Tamarindo area the last time, headed towards Jaco area this time. Love it there! My wife thinks I'm nuts but would like to retire there.

Are you using the boxblade in reverse? The 3PH is designed to PULL not PUSH.

I am about 5 mins from Jaco. I am a sportfish captain in the Marina here at Los Suenos Resort. It is in Herradura which is the 1st town before you get to Jaco. The new highway is open from San Jose and the drive time has been cut by 40 mins.
The first time I broke the case the pin on the chain either broke or fell out and I was going up a slope and heard a noise and looked back and boxblade was cockeye.
This last time I lost traction and one side of boxblade slid into tree and that what broke it.
If you need any info on this area let me know.
