Anyways, I'm a serious newb with this, but I am trying to figure out what type of engine oil to use with my Ingersoll 4020. Thanks!

Straight 30 weight oil is what I run in my ingersoll 4020 with the Onan engine.

Those are a great lawn tractor my parents have a 4018 with a tad over 1000 hours its served them well to bad that cummins onan no longer provides engines like these. My parents also use a straight 30w

I've run straight dino 30W in my 1983 Case ( now Ingersol) 448, except when new in the winter....running 20W then. It is the Onan 18 HP twin engine and it still runs great. It is on its second hour meter and has probably 1500--2000 hours now.
