I have a JD 770 with 13.6-16 turf tires on rear and 25x8.5x14 loader tires on front. I need all new tires and would like to get away from the turf tires. Any suggestions without changing rims. I have been told that I could go with 12.4-16 on rear but would need 600-12 on front requiring 12 inch rims which I have been unable to locate. Any help would be appreciated. Danny

I know the early 790s came with the 6.00-12 rims with ag tires. My 650 uses the same size as well. Just added new tires to the front and they were Carlisle Tru Power 4 ply.

I would think you can find ag. tires to fit your rims. You should check the circumference of each because JD give the sizes so the ratio is correct when in FWD.

The 770 and 790 may have shared the same wheels/tires...which is good for any swaps.
So, going to R-1 Ag or R-4 Industrials shouldn't be too difficult...maybe not as cheap as you like though.

Is your tractor RWD or FWD? That makes a world of difference as far as your options are concerned. Also, where are you located? I have a full set of FWD R-1 rims and tires that I don't use anymore.
