I just posted another thread on Kubota vs. MF, but as I was in posting mode, thought I'd pass along a recommendation for Chappell Tractor.
I recently brought in my 7610 for service on the safety switches, several of which had developed intermittent problems. Anyone who's had this kind of problem probably knows what's coming next: the dealer couldn't find or duplicate the problem. No big deal, I had them replace the switches anyway.
Problem solved until I got the bills - one for the original "no problem" diagnosis, the second for the replacement of the switches. I took issue with the first bill for two reasons: first, because I ultimately asked them to replace the switches anyway, and second because one of their techs did, in fact, see at least the seat switch problem when he had to jump-start the tractor (shorting across the starter terminals) to get it off the trailer, and it died the instant I got off the seat.
The bottom line is that the billing situation was a discussion, not an argument (not even a little), and we came to a mutually-satisfactory agreement in short order. This only reinforced already strong positive experiences with Chappell, as I've bought everything from tools and power equipment to clothing from these guys, in addition to having my tractor serviced there. Terrific service and great customer service skills in every department. I highly recommend them.
