Auctions are really a great way to spend a day outside and save some money on farm equipment to boot. Just about every state has more than one major auction site. What is your favorite and where is it located?
In the summer months I like to frequent Rogers Auctions, located where else but in Rogers, Ohio. It's my personal favorite. I have seen it all sold there and I learned early on to take a trailer when I go as I always seem to drag something home behind me as a result. There are real bargains to be found. Last season I saw complete hay wagons going for a mere 30 bucks each. It also surprised me to see new implements as well. I passed up a deal on a brand new PHD that was fitted to a quick attach. I wasn't interested in it at the time as my previous tractor was not equipped to handle it. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
We will see what the new season brings.
