Kubota m7040
I need an extra remote to operate the bat wings on a 15 foot bushhog as my tractor only came with one. Kubota wants almost $1000.00 for one. Are the splitters any good? Any info on how and where to get would be appreciated

This valve will do what you want, and has float and PB..

I would recommend two of these valves in case you will need T-N-T also.

1 SPOOL 30 GPM PRINCE RD516GG5A4B1 OC VALVE W/FLT

You probably have a hyd blk at your right foot area, and can use the PB from the hyd blk to insert those valves in series with the flow.

Forgive my ignorance but what are the abbreviations you used and where would you put that in a cab tractor? The tractor has a front end loader as we'll if that matters? And one remote with space for 2 more factory remotes. Thank you very much for your help

Wouldn't 30 GPM be too much flow for the M7040 that only has 11 GPM to remote circuit?

Cab tractor would require cable operated valve similar to Kubota factory valves. T-N-T = hyd operated toplink & tilt

The cheapest way would be to take off the front end loader and assuming the valves stay with the tractor, just use one of the front end loader functions. You wouldn't even have to take the loader off. Just use the outlets for the bucket. All you need is longer hoses.

That valve was mainly for the float and PB. Don't think the volume would be a problem. Would still work with less resistance.

If cab tractor, then I would go with a 3rd function solenoid valve for the mower.

Put the solenoid valve in series with the flow and control it using a spring loaded switch.

Inexpensive, simple and done.

Here are some pictures of a customer's M7040 that needed 6 sets of rear remotes. No problem to add just one if that's what you want to do. He has full feathering capability with all of his remotes.

I thought large flow valve on smaller flow pump affected control of cylinders on such things as feathering.

So you added a splitter/ hydraulic multiplier with solenoid operated valves? Does the hydraulic multiplier work fine? I have seen some that make two from one advertised for about 500.00 on ebay (Iowa farm equip I think)
