I wish I could say I built this stainless steel welding cart, but I didn't. Instead I got a pair of these carts at the local university surplus store for $30 each, they were originally food service carts...the two black drawers were another $5 each and I dug the free wide metal keyboard drawer out of their discards pile. Whole thing cost me $45 for the materials and hardware, it's 36 inches long and 22 inches wide, and the top is 37 inches from the ground...perfect standing level height work surface for me.
I should have posted a "before" picture too...the carts had a layer of dirt and grease on them that was so heavy it took a box of SOS pads and four cans of degreaser plus three hours of scraping and power washing to get the crud off...that was probably the reason they were priced so low.
