I was grading gravel road yesterday and started hearing strange noise from rear of tractor. Since both wearing ear mufflers and running box grader, noise was pretty loud. Stopped, turned off engine, and inspected rear. To my amazement, left rear wheel was turned inboard about 10 degrees. and rubbing against frame. Two bolts missing from rim/dish. The two remaining bolts were also loose. Threads scoured. With much effort replaced all four with new OEM bolts. Then checked remaining wheels. Most were less then spec torque. Total hours on tractor about 62. I have been routinely checking wheel fasterners by inspection. Bottom line - I will now be torquing wheels regularly.
