2016kioti ck3510hst
Hi,
I have a ck3510 hst I replaced a fuel return line because mice had chewed one of the lines. I had to use a regular line since I couldn稚 find anything like kioti uses and my dealer didn稚 want to look up part numbers etc. so I substituted best I could. I had to remove the computer (Iassume that痴 what it is ) and other assorted air hose. Replaced the line after cleaning out the mice nest. Put everything back to get her now I have a check engine light on. I opened the fuel filter drain to relieve any air in the line
It runs when started however when I depress the brake pedal the rpms increase.
Trying figure this out on my own. I am leaning towards replacing the fuel filter adding fresh fuel ,there is already additive in the fuel(k-100)
The dealer I bought it from is useless with the customer service, the other kioti dealer doesn稚 like servicing kioti that he didn稚 sell. I知 stuck
Can you help me please

Well my first thought is to get the correct fuel line. Any dealer will be willing to get you the part, especially if you stand there at the counter and watch him look up the part number so that he can then get it for you!! Secondly don't muddy the water by changing the fuel filter etc. It was running good before so don't touch that for now. You may have to bleed the system some more though. Thirdly, disconnecting the positive cable from the battery for a few minutes usually resets the computer. Maybe the dealer can verify that for you. Let us know how you make out. Dutchy

I was thinking - bleed the system and disconnect the battery for a period.

Mice and rats have an affinity for plastic wire coating as well as rubber parts. If you had to move the control box to clean out a nest, there's a good chance you may have bare wires touching each other or grounding. Revisit that spot and check the wiring carefully.

It's a never ending battle here with all the autos, trucks and equipment. If I let something sit unused for more than a week, something will take up residence. I just saw a bird fly out from under my truck fender yesterday. :rolleyes: Out here, I'm always on the lookout for rattle snakes. They like mice and rats. :eek:

I suspect the fuel line doesn't have a thing to do with what it's doing. Most likely, you moving things around is what's causing your issues. Are you sure you put everything back on the ECM in the correct location?

Update;
Thanks for replies.... I bought the kioti brand return line fuel assembly and replaced the whole thing , then replaced the entire injector assembly wiring harness. Put everything back together and fired up
everything runs great I added new fuel with ks1000 fuel additive she purrs kinda like a diesel kitten.
The GEL engine light comes on at rpms above 1000 and goes off when I drop rpms to idle, was thinking replacing fuel filter again thanks for the replies

Not sure what GEL means....or do you mean CEL? I don't think that changing the fuel filter will make any difference. Usually a CEL will come on and go from time to time in the cars that we all drive. No big deal unless something is obviously wrong or sounds different than normal, or exhaust smells strange etc. If the tractor works good otherwise, I'd just see what 10 hours will do to the CEL I bet that it goes away...
