Check out the new Ford Superduty

That is a cool truck, I like it when OEMs pay attention to what the public does with aftermarket parts and mods and offers them in production. I was very happy with dodge in 1994 when I noticed they kept a simple solid front axle instead of going with GM's IFS style.

I built my Jeep j20 in a similar fashion for fun and it worked out very well when
I used it to haul my tractor into remote state land areas to do planting for the local wild turkey federation chapter. And I am sure this Dodge will find its place.

Dodge and Ford both put out lifted trucks as production in the past. The earliest I remember was a ford in about 1978 had 38" tall tires and then the Rod Hall edition dodge in the early 80's which was recalled due to a high COG, Dodge attempted to buy all of these back no matter condition for the original price or trade for a regular pickup painted with the Rod Hall black and orange scheme.
I am sure they did their homework with the power wagon.

As far current production trucks the Hummer H2 SUT is technically a pickup with metric tires that come into 34" to 35" tall.

But as a work truck there is nothing more proven than a Ford.

When my boy is old enough to keep up with me on a motorcycle I'll be shopping for the F350 PSD CC for hauling the family, dirtbikes and camper up north.
