... from Ditch Witch -- with seven totally different front end choices -- standard tool carrier (the norm), high-lift tool carrier, backhoe, dumper (is it self-loading?), etc., then add on all the attachments... Here's some of the front-end choices.

Available in 2WD and 4WD, with 2-speed drive systems. Talk about innovation!

Actually they're not mini-skidsteers at all, because they have articulated steering, but that's the name of the niche that Toro Dingo and such are put in... No mowers offerered, but other than that, I think they match about every other PT attachment.

Ditch Witch - The ZAHN. Welcome to the revolution.

Thought you might appreciate some creative engineering and thinking outside the box....

nice... but I wonder how easy it is to mount and dismount that backhoe? Matter of fact, many of the attachments don't look like there is an easy way to seperate them... unless you pull the pins in the articulating hitch? But thatdoes not seem to be aneconomical solution, where you would have to buy every attachment with a pair of wheels on them (although they would be easier to push around your garage).

They show 32 attachments that fit their standard QA setup on the "tool carrier" front-end, so you'd only need to change the front-end if you wanted to switch that off to use one of the specialized front-ends, like the backhoe.

After I downloaded the brochure, I answered my own question... that tandem dumper is self-loading...

That looks pretty slick. Ditch-Witch does seem to be a very innovative company.

I just checked out their web site and it looks like it is dead simple to mount and dismount the BH front end. It doesn't have its own wheels. The tool carrier front end appears to accept all of their skid steer attachments. The dumper is self loading. In all it appears to be a slick mini skid steer-like machine. Tiny though, with that standing operator's station.

So instead of seat time you get stand time. Sounds tiring to me, but it does make for a compact machine.

Any information on what a 30HP 4WD unit costs--and what the attachments cost?
