I was putting on a pair of 1.5 inch wheel spacers and almost did not notice that they were not completely slipping over the center hub on my JD 3203.
Notice the gap between the spacer and the hub below.

The hub stuck out 1/2 an inch. The spacer cut out inside was only about 0.4 deep.
I don't have a milling machine so I roughed out the spacer with a carbide 4 flute 3/8th end mill with my drill press.

Worked just fine.
Be careful to check this out.
