2012 Kubota BX1860
Hey everyone, nice to find the forum! Tons of info here so really excited to dig in. :D

We just moved into a new place about a month ago. Not a ton of land, an acre that needs mowed but more importantly a private road (around 300') that needs maintained and about 200' of driveway that I'll need to keep clear in the winter. I knew I didn't want to use my 26" snow blower and figured a garden tractor wasn't going to cut it either. I stumbled across the smaller Kubotas and really got my attention. So I did some reading here and a few other places and narrowed it down to what I wanted and then came across a 2012 BX1860 with 191 hours that I bought for $5800. It has a back blade and 54" MMM. Really wishing I would have got a FEL but I had limited funds and figured it'd be best to see how much we use this over the next few years then maybe upgrade.

Here's a few pictures from when we picked it up and the first use was grabbing the mail

The back blade and that size tractor will do fine for clearing most snowfalls. When your budget allows, I'd highly recommend adding an FEL. That'll work (slowly) for bigger snowfalls.

That's the goal. I'd love to add a FEL but it doesn't have a loader control valve. Not much info on adding one either. I'm guessing it's quite a big job adding those controls.

Welcome to tbn. What part of OH.

The valve can get installed with the loader.

Cuyahoga Falls. Can you get the loader valve/control separately? I've been trying to find info without luck. I did find a rear auxiliary hydraulic setup that I'm going to install.

Working on fabbing up some lift arms for trash cans now. That way I can take the trash cans down and get the mail at the same time HAHA
