Newbie here. This forum has provided a wealth of information, making the purchase of a used tractor much easier. I found a 2015 LS xr4046hc with 188 hours that had been traded in for a much larger kubota. I drove the 500 mikes to inspect and drive it. The only flaws I could find was a small dent in the bucket and the HST pedals a bit out of adjustment (which was done right then). I made the purchase and am expecting delivery Monday. My only concerns relate to the actual condition. The dealer said it had been serviced, but being a kabota service department, I'm a little concerned that the HST hadn't been adjusted during the service. Hopefully there won't be any surprises.
I feel I've gotten a good deal at $21,900, plus a $500 delivery charge (540 miles one way). I added a new set of PLF3048 pallet forks, and found a beater rotary cutter for $500. Going to add a bolt on tooth bar right away, and then a grapple for the forklift. That should get me started on a land clearing project. I want to see if I can't make a living with the machine as a tractor/operator for hire. A new condition intermediate
duty brushhog, and then a plow and tiller are next on the list. Comments and suggestions?
