When increasing post dia. and/or weight you hang from it, also consider the need to sink it deeper than the other posts.
On a different note, be cautious about how much of the fumes you breathe from the Copper solution. I was just getting over some bronchitis and started applying some of this stuff in some touch up situations on my log house. It got my lungs a little tender again. You might think about getting one of those respirator type masks from Lowe's or H.D. and wear it if you're gonna' be breathin' very much of the stuff. Don't line the posts up against the wall of your house (especially under a window) for soaking. Use the wall of an out building-a barn, or an already existing fence or something so the fumes are going somewhere other than into your house.
