All the Wally Worlds around here have stopped carrying this paint. Has anyone noticed if this is true in their nock of the woods as well?

I found the threads for lots of different choices to match the Kubota orange, but that stuff I got from Wally world really holds up, and is a perfect match.
I painted my Woods grader box with it and it is still just as good as the day I painted it, even with all of the use and abuse that it has gotten.

My last painting task was the mower deck (just to keep it from rusting) and the Duplicolor seems to be good stuff, but not as good as that Wally World paint.

Anyone seen that stuff there lately?

Have you tried your local automotive parts store? That's where I get mine.

what brand and paint color name/code are you guys using? I am getting ready to weld on some hooks onto my loader and was going to ask this very question later in the week! Great timing.

I received a good match on New Kubota Orange paint from Valspar Tractor & Implement paint# 5339-27 purchased at TSC. It matches well on my 01 BX2200.

Checked here and nothing. Not sure what brand or type (spray or brush) but I did a quick Google for Chevy Orange Paint and came back with many websites selling different brands. Maybe you can find it that way... Would have to pay some shipping but would have what you are looking for!

Good luck!

Yep, I used the Duplicolor #1620 Chevy engine orange (they have two colors of engine orange), seems to be good paint, but that old Wally World stuff was great.
We'll see how the Duplicolor works out, seems like a good match. I'll give the TSC Valspar a try as well, since I have an older BX2200, and I know that Valspar is good paint.

:D

Got a brand name and number? I'm heading to Wally World tonight.....I'll check. It was probably pulled off of the shelves because it contained something toxic. If it was that durable, it will be replaced by something cheaper(quality wise), more expensive, and you'll have to use twice as much to get the same coverage......great marketing tactics!

FWIW.....

I just put together a table of reported orange paint matches on the BX Wiki site. You can add comments to that page (though you probably have to register with the wiki hosting site first (which coincidentally is a company called Wetpaint).

I'll also monitor this thread, and will update the table if someone reports finding a new paint.
