I replaced the feed roller drive belt this past weekend and got the Chipper ready for spring. The feed roller drive belt is a 38" x 1/2" belt. There are several posts on the net for 37", 38", and 39" belts for this feed roller (Heck, I probably forwarded a few of them and used them for reference myself until this past weekend).

I tried all three to see which one works best. The 37" causes the mechanism to be too tight. In doing so, it forces the feed roller drive shaft to run at the steepest possible angle. The 39" can not be tightened enough.

Did anybody find a resolution to the two instances of feed roller drive shaft joint issues?
