Chinese diesel generator?

Has any one had any experience of knowledge about these Chinese diesel generators, 6 to 7 kw range? I see them for sale on E-bay for around $1000. I would like to get a more efficent generator than gas. I have had two Chinese gas genertors from Harbor Freight and both failed. No parts available and no service. (after 30 days.) Refered me to a authorized generator shop and the guy just laughed at me. Said no parts available, no service manuals. Whats your thoughts.

My thoughts are a Honda,yamaha,kubota gaser.I have a Kubota 6500 watt gas model for my home that i bought back in 2000 that has ran flawless.coobie
