Chinese Frustrated In Indiana

Hey Guys or Gals,
I just spent hours going through the 40 some odd pages of info, back to May 2005. I have an Allied 243F with an Xingxing 385 Diesel Engine. In all the pages I found one entry that reads "Allied produced by Benye Tractor Corp". I can not find any dealers that might have Manuals for the Allied 243F or the Xingxing 385 Diesel engine. Can someone guide me to where I can find some infor on these two products. The info would be gratefully appreciated.

I think you may have a Y385 engine, if that's the case you are in luck. I'm sure Chip at artrac can verify or maybe the good folks on here could with some pictures of the engine.

Good news is that it seems that the XingXing engine is in fact a Yangdong so engine parts and manuals are not a problem. This is the most common of chinese 3 cylinders in the USA. Bad new is that Benye was purchased by John Deere and it is unlikely we will see the brand in the USA again.

There is a dealer in Jonesboro Arknasas, I cant think of his name, that has done a lot of Benye stuff over the years. Originally through Allied and I think direct in more recent years. I don't know them personally, only know of them.

If you don't find an active Benye dealer in this country, you might try the UK. Over there they call it the BY250C and BY254C, except theirs have two cylinder engines. Probably still be worth the postage to send for the tractor manuals. See Benye UK - Compact Tractor Company - Contact Us

The Y85 engine manuals should be available from any Jinma dealer here in America.

Thank you for the info. Talked with Tommy at affordable Tractor Sales and he said the Yangdong is different than the XingXing. Don't know this for sure! But any info is helpful at this point.

they are now probably the best source I can think of for Benye support and will certainly beable to confirm if Xinxing is in fact an old brand name of Yandong as was discussed on a post on another forum.

Also, since Benye as the main supplier of Rhino brand tractors, Farm Boys tractor parts, located in Tennesee may have what you need for Benye tractors.

The thread you refered me to sure was helpful, now I can order the manual for the xin xing engine (y385). This site is great for the beginer. Have lots to learn about chinese tractors.

The Allied tractors were/are sold by Allied Tractors, North Royalton, OH. They still have an active website: Allied Tractor Home

But it doesn't appear they carry Benye anymore, but they should still provide service/parts.
