I hope someone can help me out with this problem. I have a John Deere I Match that doesn't line up with these two chinese 3 point tools. The width of the imatch is about 30 inches and the chinese 3 point is about 20 inches. Any help sure would be appreciated.

Well, I think the problem is that John Deere designed the iMatch to favor John Deere implements - and vice versa. They can make more money if you have to buy BOTH from them. I believe the ASAE has established the standard Cat 1 lower pin spacing at 26". Assuming your 30" measurement is accurate, then the iMatch isn't ASAE compliant.

But then again, neither is 20" spacing on a Cat 1 implement. Are you sure your implements aren't Cat 0 ?

I have the HF quick hitch and is adjusted. For 69 bucks well worth it.

Ironically the I-match was "probably" built in China. My 2210 is built in Japan and some FEL parts are built in China. BTW what is the cost of a JD I-match???

JD says the I-Match meets the ASAE standard. Here's the dimensions of it -

iMatch™ Quick Hitch (option)

Other than the pin sizes being slightly small my $99 Harbor Freight quick hitch seems to meet the ASAE standard too.

There is a reason they paint that JD stuff green... ;)

Well, not to put too fine a point on it, but that John Deere blurb says the iMatch meets the ASAE standard for quick hitches (S278.6). That's not the same standard to which I referred. ASAE 217.12 (Three-Point Free-Link Attachment for Hitching Implements to Agricultural Wheel Tractors) sets Cat 1 lower hitch point span at 683mm (+/-1.5mm). At ~689mm, the iMatch is a bit wider than the actual Cat 1 three point spec.

Nevertheless, neither agree with the 30 inches reported by the OP.

NorgeMan - would you mind please, clarifying whether your 30" is an inside or an outside measurement?

Right, JD claims it meets S278.6 for quick hitches and that it will fit implements that also meet that standard.

From the link - The iMatch Quick Hitch provides easy hookup and a guaranteed fit for all Category 1 implements that are designed to meet the ASAE Category 1 Standard S278.6 for quick-attach hitches.

Which makes sense since we're not talking about free link attachment... ;)

Too bad so many of the implements, and not just the Chinese models, are not designed with a quick hitch in mind...

Edit: Agree he's probably got some Cat 0 implements where the 20" dimension makes sense. His I-Match is probably a bit narrower than 30" too...

First off thank you for replying. Next thing is the 30 inches is the lower width of the quick hitch where the attachment pins would slide into. The attachment pins are only 20 inches wide. Would it work if I took the quick hitch off .

The Pin opening and the Upper Bracket opening on the JD I-match is sized for CAT III pins. For example to properly mount a JD Ballast Box on a JD I-Match a $65 Bushing Kit is reguired. The lower bushings do three things - upsize to CAT III, elminate the use of lock pins and provide a "collar" on the outside end of the bushing so the implement cannot slide out. The Upper Bracket bushing upsizes to CAT III.

On any implement that falls within the width tolerances, I think at a minimum, CAT I to Cat II to CAT III bushings would be required to prevent a sloppy fit. It would really depend on the exact width of the implement, the length of the pins and the placement of the lock pin holes, whether the collar style bushing would be required.

If you remove the quick hitch and your lower arms will move far enough inward you can probably make it work. You will need bushings on the implement pins to make them fit your Cat 1 lift arms and top link.

I'd be careful with Cat 0 implements on a Cat 1 tractor. If they're made for a light tractor you may be able to damage them easily on something larger and more powerful...

Thanks JSharp, thats what it is alright. The Imatch has to come off for the implements to work. Its a shame that not everything will work the same way. Every implement I have had to be configured to the Imatch. I think I'll just take it off and leave it off. By the way I am an old Illinois boy myself, raised in Chicago and moved to FoxLake. Now retired in taxation Wisconsin.
