Chip sealing a dirt road

Have a 1/4 mile of flat road with great AB material already on the roadway. Looking to chip seal it to cut down on dust and wear & tear on vehicles and tires. Wondering what prices are around the country for chip sealing a road? Width on the road is about 15 feet.

Typically chip seal (at least in our area) has a big minimum cost. A 1/4 mile driveway is about 10’ of laying the product down. My fear is chip seal isn’t worth it unless they have a big job near you. Then it’s going to be the mood of the contractor.

I am waiting on the big companies to be out here so that way the large initial cost of hauling all their equipment is out of the way and someone else paid for it.

Had my 1/4 mile drive (10' wide) done here by a local company. Price was $1 per square foot.

No problem getting chip and seal done around here. Had a more difficult time trying to find paving contractors to quote it.
