jd 40 crawler, power trac 422.
anyone familiar with the SALSCO chippers currently being discussed on the attachments forum. looks to me like the model 600 and 824 could be adapted to 422/425 power-trac's.

All but the 600 appear to require too much power for the 422/425 PTO.

Too bad the PT hydraulic system is not designed so that if some system, for example steering or drive, is not using any hydraulic power the entire flow could be directed to thesytem in need as, for example, a chipper, rock picker, log splitter, etc. Many implements are only going to be used while the tractor is stationary are steering and drive are not needed.
