How's my garden?

My neighbor gave us a drip irrigation system a few years ago. My daughter and I decided to install it last week. It has rained every day since we installed it!

We only have tomatos and peppers in so far. Will plant some peas, beans, watermelon and pumpkins soon.

Maybe thats what I should do!! Can't even buy a rain drop around here lately..

Farm, You are far to modest, with broccoli that good you should have used a 50 to snap the picture with;)

nice looking broccoli...what variety is that?

Sorry it took so long for the reply but I had to find the seed packets to find the variety I grew.

"Premium Crop".

I've used the same seed to start plants indoors for 3 seasons in a row with better luck each year. I still have enough for maybe a couple more years.

I love broccoli and would love to grow it, but it is on the "not recommended" list for N. TX. That includes lettuce and cabbage; although, I've seen both grown successfully on occasion. This year would have been the perfect year to try it. Yours looks terrific FWJ. It's a shame that the weather won't support you on the rest of your crop. Maybe you will have better luck on a long-term crop next year. If I ever get my winter hothouse built, I should be able to grow broccoli, lettuce, and cabbage. I'll remember that "premium crop" as a good producer.:)
