Chose the 3130

After much research (mostly on this site), I chose the L3130 over the B7800. Dealer just delivered it today and I'm absolutely thrilled! My thanks to all of you who responded to my posts and others whose insite and experience helped me make what I think is a very sound decision.

Congrats on a fine decision. There will be few times when you will be dissapointed, nothing's perfect but the L3130 is close, in my purely biased opinion. Keep an eye on the 4 rear wheel bolts, they do loosen over time, do like the manual says and check tightness when required. Ain't she purdy all nice and shiny like that? ENJOY.

Excellent! I also own this model! I live in the small town of Bolivar, about 15 miles South of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and use my tractor to mow about 7-8 acres, maintain a 1 mile long gravel drive, & misc. work (playing) around the homestead. Good luck! One of the few times, "I can actually say, that this kind of purchase is money well spent" Tractor's hold their value, in addition, to the extraordinary amount of work you can now get done in a small amount of time! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
