Christmas comes early for me

Yesterday I got a nice little female German Shepherd DDR pup straight from Frankfurt Germany to Pittsburgh International via US Air(that was an experience going through customs etc). She is sacked out,tired from the trip and asleep on the carpet in front of the tv. You should have seen her when she 1st stepped out of the kennel into our living room,she froze looking at her new surroundings and the other GSD dogs, it must be culture shock./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Congrats on the early Christmas present. A dogs the best kind!!! They just keep on giving!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif My youngest son is 5 months old but we already have a deal for a puppy when he turns 4 years old. Won't Mom have a fit since we already have two.

Sounds great; can you get a picture up? We are losing one of our two 7-1/2 year old Australian Shepherds to cancer sometime before long, and I hope it's not too disloyal of me to be thinking ahead just a bit to a possible future GSD--how did you go about finding the pup, and with importing, what assurances re. hips. lineage, etc.?
