Ok the wife, lovely creature with a fine disposition, asked me on Sunday: WHAT DO I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS?

So I started thinking, and came up with some stuff, and then I had a brainstorm, why limit the wish list to just what I can think of. I'm sure someone out there can give me some great inspiration . . .

So far I am thinking : A pond scoop, and a new barn to keep the pond scoop in.

Thanks for the very generous offer Bob! You can get me a Lincoln Gen Welder. $1000 at Sams Club. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If buying gifts for so many get you strapped, I will settle for a 1/2" air impact wrench. I'm not picky. Anything over 400 Ft Lbs will do. Of course 600 Ft Lbs or over would get Santa more cookies. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

When the bride asked that question last week, I answered "a tooth bar".

Got a genuine deer in the headlights gaze back.

Think she may need my help with this one /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I have a friend whose wife makes it her business to learn all about his gifts. Sometimes she calls me this time of year and asks me dozens of questions about things. Boy was he surprised one year when he got just the composite rifle stock he had been dreaming about. He thinks his wife is special, and I think he's right.

Well, while your ordering things for X-mas I would like a 5' RFM, /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif4' rotary tiller, /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifand a tooth bar /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. I can think of alot of other things but this will do for starters. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

I've been hinting at the NH Quick Attach bucket conversion for my 16LA, about $900 with trade. I keep telling her that it's a good deal compared to the 3k ring I got her for our 10th this spring. I've yet to see the ring move a pile of dirt.. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif or anything else for that matter... Oh but wait... it did bring a big smile /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif to her face. And as the saying goes, When momma's happy.....well you know the rest... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

QMason,

A question about your gift: Is the Quick Attach bucket shaped differently from the HD bucket? My bucket seems to be designed to scoop snow, which is good for Santa, but we don't have snow down here. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

gmason . . . my 18th anniversary was this past spring. I showed up with a box all wrapped up and gave it to the MRS. She said What is this present for? To which I replied HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. She said (and she never speaks this way) OH F... Then she opened it and found a large solitare diamond surrounded by a bunch of small ones. Sometimes, it is good to be king of the house because it happens so RARELY in life that I get to be the king. Out in the yard I can be king. In the garage I can be king. Heck, in my mind I get to be king. But in the house. . . only on rare occasions. But I do totally agree with you about watching that diamond move a pile of dirt. . . just doesn't happen. And when you let them know that our "toys" are practical and their "toys" are worth 1/3 what they cost if you take them down to the local pawn shop all it gets you is a frying pan upside the head /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

My Dad told me a long time ago, "If you want to be King, treat her like a Queen."

Works don't it.
