Christmas tree up yet?

Put up the out door lites in Nov.2005 Never took em down .

Morning BTDT.
Kinda not looking to puting up the tree,for the Mrs. and cat have couple go arounds each day...cat thinks it cool to have tree inside w/all those goodies hanging...yikes.

If it were left up to me, I'm afraid there wouldn't be any decorating; however, to keep my wife happy, I put up the outside lights Tuesday before Thanksgiving, then my wife and our youngest daughter spent most of the day doing the interior decorating Friday after Thanksgiving.

Since this is our first Christmas living full time in the country I have a new strategy. I used a "Tractor" (hint hint) to set up the tree outdoors, because I figure the gifts will be too big (hint, hint) to fit indoors.

1. Digging the tree out of the Texas snow (sand)
2. Setting it up near the house
3. Instructions for Santa

Yep, we have the same problem ! Molly our black and white thinks the tree is really cool !

am the same Bird, i guess as i get older don't seem that important anymore the 2 oldest are out west and they will be spending the holliday together and the youngest and her family are 100 miles away where we will spend the hollidays so no decorations for us , except for a small fibre optic tree and some of the brides favorite things.

Well to be honest I kinda get the cat going when I turn on that singing bird ornament...good thing we have two support lines to hold the tree in place.

Guess winter temps have finally arrive ...maybe the ground will now freeze so one can get back in the woods after all this rain we been having.

Many years ago I had a male cat. He came back from the vet after getting neutered and front declawed. The Christmas tree also came home the same day. Cat tried to climb tree and fell out butt first, hitting several branches on the way out. That cat never bothered a Christmas tree in his remaining 16 years.
