Hello folks! I'm building a house in the mountains of NH on 4 wooded, sloped acres. I've recently retired, so will have plenty of time to play, I mean work with a tractor. This is a great resource, which I'll be reading & researching. Also, asking many questions regarding tractor & implement purchase appropriate for my situation.

To the TBN forum MAD. We are glad that you joined. Congrats on the retirement. Now you are going to find out what real work is. :D

You will get a lot of people that will be glad to spend your money.
You should go and test drive as many different models as you can. That way you will get the feel for the different models and will be easier to understand what questions to ask and what people are asking and telling you.

Please post pictures of what you are looking at and your new toy whn you gwt it.

For new, or used tractors, Chappell Tractor, in Milford, NH seems to have a good reputation.
I have never bought anything from them though.

I bought my LPGS from them. Big facility and great customer service

Welcome to the forum MAD. I was in a similar situation, moved to VT from CA in 2013. This forum has been a huge help and wealth of knowledge. Plus they are patient with noobs and our questions
