I know they won't be apples to apples, but would I compare the Kioti CK20 to the Kubota B7510 or B 7610? I think those are the closest matched??

Depending on how you want to compare them ......weight etc. The CK20 and the 7510 will be the closest the 7610 is 24 hp I believe, 4 more than the CK20. They each have things they are better at.

Yeah the 7610 has 24 hp and both the ck20 and 7510 have 21 hp.

I drove a B7510 before I decided on the CK20. Personally I felt more comfortable on the Kioti. But the major reason I bought the Kioti was that I liked the dealer better. I'm sure the Kubota would be fine also.

They are really quite different machines when you look at them closely, both in terms of construction and features. Since I don't know what you will be doing with it, I cannot tell which would be better suited. Also, are you comparing the CK20HST or gear?

I'll be doing general chores, trails making, moving dirt, snowblow, road scraping. (approx. 200 feet) I'm sure either would do my work. I will go sit on both again and talk more to dealer. I did not know if I should compare 7610 or 7510 to ck20. Deere is a little too pricey here.

First, the CK20 and B7510 are both excellent machines with 21hp diesels. The B7610 is nearly a clone of the 7510 but with 24hp. Most people who buy the CK20 have seriously considered the Kubota 7510 and as you can imagine the machines are more similar than different. However, there are some potentially important differences that could affect your choice.

I will ignore for a moment the issue of price. That seems to vary by dealer enough that sometimes you get a better deal on a Kubota and sometimes on the Kioti. Price is also an issue with resale. I would imagine that the Kubota would, today, be easier to sell. That may change if Kioti continues to build it's reputation. Again, not an issue if you are planning to keep it for 10 years.

The Kubota is lighter by about 600 pounds. Put another way, the 7510 weighs two thirds of what the CK20 does. That can either be good or not so good depending on how much finish mowing you plan to do. Light is good for finish mowing (generally). The 7510 has another advantage for mowing if you want a MMM. The 7510 turf is a great deal with the MMM adding as I recall only about $500-700 to the price of the base tractor. The MMM for the CK20 will set you back well over $2000.

The CK20 is heavier which is generally a plus for "real" tractor like work such as plowing, box blade, FEL etc.

Features are pretty similar though the CK20 has position control while the 7510 does not. Nice feature but the Kubota guys obviously live happily without it.

Lift capacity for the 3PH is slightly higher for the Kioti.

The matching KL120 loader for the Kioti has considerably more lift capacity (at pivot pin) than the Kubota LA302 (1074lbs vs 770lbs) while the comparative breakout forces are pretty similar. The Kioti loader max lift height and clearance with bucket dumped are both about 18 inches higher than the Kubota. Kioti has a 54 inchs bucket compared to 48 on the 7510.

The Kioti KB2365 and Kubota B4672A Backhoes are pretty closely matched and are both subframe mounted.

Overall, they are both extremely well made and capable machines for their class. I was all set to buy the Kubota when I ran into a great deal on a barely used CK20. I have no regrets but I am sure I'd be happy with the Kubota as well.

Well, first off, I also looked at the B7610, 7610 and CK20. I was able to get a great deal on a new 7610 so that is what I got. It was cheaper than my original quotes on either the B7510 or CK20. (with FEL & MMM). I had the luxury of having a few Kubota dealers in my area, though only 1 Kioti dealer.

Though price aside I got the Kubota for 2 main reasons.
1. I wanted a front mounted snowblower. Kioti di not offer that attachment. Just a rear. My driveway is over 1200 ft long. Backing up that distance to snowblow...not!

2. I also wanted a grass catcher for the MMM. Kioti did not offer that attachment. The dealer could just offer a "leaf shredder" that sat in a small cart that you pull and ran off a seperate 5hp briggs & stratton motor. I wanted something that ran off the PTO. I do use that catcher for leaf pick up in the fall and it does wonders.

Two of the four Kubota dealers in my area were excellent, as was the single Kioti dealer. If it wasn't for the 2 reasons outlined above (esp #1) I'm sure I would have been happy with the CK20. (though I would have had to work on the Kioti dealer quite a bit on price.)

Sometimes, if you can't purchase the implement you need, no matter how good the tractor is, you still have to scratch it off the list.

Oh yeah, btw. I got the LA352 loader, which I am happy with. Slightly larger bucket and greater list capacity that either the LA 272(?) or LA302. (54" bucket"

Good Luck

I could be wrong but I think you are incorrect. I think they both have position control. It may not state that in the specs but I think you will find some tractors with 3 pt hitches have Draft control (not usually the small ones) but all have position control.

Certain B series Kubotas have what is called a "Quarter inching valve." The 3PH moves in 1/4 inch increments. The B7510DT/HSD has the 1/4 inching valve. The B7510DTN (narrow version) has position control.
