Ok all you guys that like to embellish yer tractors but can't find a thing in the JC Whitney catalog...here's a couple goodies I just put on my CK 30. To replace the little jewelry box behind the seat with a competent tool chest, I found an army surplus ammo box that fits great. It measures 19" long, 6 1/8" wide, and 11" tall. It is item number 1-2261 in the Surplus Center catalog # 277. Cost is $12.95. The only mod needed was to the lid latch handles so they would clear the ROPS risers. The other item is a nifty 12V. dome light with a white translucent lense about 3" round. it will make an excellent dome light attached to the ceiling of the canopy. I haven't wired it yet because my ROPS and canopy are off the tractor while I work in the woods with it. It is plenty bright to illuminate the dash and all the operator controls on the platform. This unit is item # 12-953 with a cost of $3.95. I installed a 2 position pull type light switch in the dash where the European horn buton would be . It will be wired so that step one is for the dome light only, step two will leave the dome lite on and also energize the two flood lamps installed on the canopy underside. These can be aimed front or rear or one each. the flood lamps are a Peterson item available at auto supplies and Wal-Marts automotive dept...$13.00 each.

I wish my CK0HST tractor could reside closer to my workshop- a mere 108 miles apart.
I have to fab stuf, measure, ponder, and install from afar.
I cringe to hear you operate without ROPS... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I know its in the way at times...
