Price Check CK 25 HST Price opinions

I've been looking for a Kioti for quite some time, just saw this one:

2005 CK 25 HST
485 Hours
KL 130 loader
Kioti Landscape Rake

Seems like a decent deal with all the extra stuff, but.. I don't need the extra stuff either..

Other consideration is the Last dealer I talked to suggested the 25 HST was underpowered.

Can't speak for the HST. But, my CK25 gear is not in anyway underpowered. Quite the opposite.

I too have the CK25 gear and have not had a problem with power, but when I was shopping on of the dealers mentioned the same thing to me. I believe what the dealer was referring to was that the HST will have some loss of HP through the transmission but I think it is mostly for ground engagement implements. Considering that both machines weigh about the same but the 30 has 5 more ponies. The dealer that told me this also did not have any CK25's on his lot gear or HST he pretty much only carried the CK20 & CK30.

Just finished pricing out the CK models, and ended up purchasing a CK35. However, to give you a pricing comparison, I was quoted $14,300 on a brand new CK25 Gear, or 14,900 HST, both with the loader (also included filling the tires and delivery). So it may be helpful to subtract those extras and see what your actually paying for the tractor.. I believe the rake and box blade both go for $700 each new.. so used maybe you could get both for around $800?? THe rotary cutter I've heard go for around 500 used (I ended up getting a new one with mine, a 5' sundown with slip clutch for $1250). I have no idea on pricing for the tiller and finish mower though.. maybe on the high side $700 each used? So, adding up all the used prices for the implements you get around $2600 (which again, is alot of speculation on my part - perhaps more knowledgable members can help pricing these out).. So that puts you at $10,400 for the tractor - sounds like a decent savings to me - downside is that you only have 1 - 1.5 years left on warranty (depending on when it was purchased in '05), and that 485 hours is not alot, but not a little either! Other downsides are that dealerships are running good financing deals, so unless your paying cash, its something to consider. The final downside is that you can't just pay 10,400 for the tractor.. your paying 13k for everything. You said you don't "need" those other attachments.. If it was me, and I don't need all those attachments either, I'd rather pay the extra 1.3k for a brand new CK25 with warranty (would rather have a new gear than a used HST), get dealer support, take advantage of the 0% financing, and worry about buying the extras as I need them.

I don't think the 4 year warranty came out until 2006. I bought my CK25 in November 2005 and it only came with a 2 year warranty. For some reason April 2006 rings a bell when I remember Kioti announcing the 4 year warranty, but I could be mistaken. You might want to check with one of the dealers on here.

The CK & DK 'engine and drive line' parts are warranteed for the 3rd year or 2000 hours of ownership, prior to Feb 15,2006. ( As posted on KIOTI - run ahead of the pack! )

Good analysis.. and yes, that is pretty much the conclusion I came to as well. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a new CK 30 HST kl130 for either 14,700 with the rebate, or 15,200 with 0%.

Then I have no extra implements to sell off, it's local, and I get the new 'B' loader w/out a cracking issue.

My bad. Thanks for the info. For some reason I thought it was 2 years on the tractor and 1 year on the loader & backhoe and just figured the engine and drive line fell under the 2 yrs.
