Dear Friends ... My CK27 currently has 650 hours. Have owned it for going on 6 years. Has anybody had to have the Front Axle Pivot Adjusted or Have had to have the Engine Valve Clearance Adjusted? Have not had any serious problems/issues with the tractor. Have been performing periodic services related to fluid changes, greasing, as suggested. Hope this helps!

Would like to hear from our Kioti Forum Family as what/how you suggest to handle the Axle Pivot & Valve Clearance matters. Are these areas something that occur frequently? This SC will appreciate your assistance, and suggestions that you can share. Thank you very much! KK USAF 62-66

I have done valve and tappet clearance adjustments on my older auto and truck vehicles for many years. Same concept applies to tractors. The first time you do it, it takes about 4 hours; and the second time only takes 90 minutes. You can also let the dealer do this valve adjustment, but you don't gain any experience letting the dealer do it.

Purchase a good set of feeler gauges off Amazon, watch some Utube videos to observe how its done, and begin the process.

Thanks for sharing your experience. My next question would be if it would really be necessary to look into this as the engine, at this time seems to work well with no issues? Something like "If it isn't broke don't mess with it". Not sure what our other Kioti Forum Family members have handled this suggestion? The service manual suggests every 800 hours. Thanks again. KK

If Kioti recommends 800 hours, i would follow that maintenance schedule for valve adjustments. The good news is you only have 3 cylinders. Cars and Trucks since 1980's, require no valve adjustment. So something i used to routinely help my dad out as a kid, making these valve adjustments, is very much a forgotten skill.

Get the workshop manual for your tractor, and will show in detail, all steps required for each scheduled maintenance interval.
