2018 CK3510H
I just traded my ck2610 gear tractor in on a ck3510 hydro.....I was really impressed with my 2610 and it only had 150hrs on it but I really wanted the hydro....the difference in getting a 2610 hydro and 3510 was under $1500 Canadian....I figured it was good price to get 10 more hp....
The tractor has kl4010 fel, the field cab installed and two sets of rear remotes, loaded rear tires... only have 4hours on it, but like the 2610 it has plenty of power. The big difference is no regen on the 2610, 3510 does....but so do other brands over 25hp....for the $ I felt Kioti offered the best bang for the buck.
Anyone have any experience with these tractors...in particular the regen?

I just bought a CK3510SE a couple weeks ago. Only about 26 hours on it so no regen for me yet. I can tell you as someone who owns several diesel 1 tons and some larger trucks don’t be afraid! Those that don’t own trucks/vehicles/tractors with DPF or DEF like to talk about what a nightmare they are and how they would never buy one. The reality is other than the first generation versions of these systems they are generally maintenance free as long as you understand how they work. Yes it’s one more thing that could break but so is anything new on a tractor. I feel like a lot of guys telling horror stories about DPF systems are probably the same guys driving 1940’s mogas equipment. Don’t sweat it and enjoy the tractor! Besides you have 7 years of warranty time before you have to worry about it anyways.

I tend to agree with you. I have heard and read many horror stories with regards to dpf and regen, not unlike when electronic ignition replaced points, or fuel injection replaced carburetors in cars....lots of fear and hesitation then also....my dealer has been in the tractor business for many many years and is very reputable....I asked him about the dpf and he said if the regen process is followed as indicated in the manual Issues are very minimal...I asked one of the mechanics and he said the only issue he recalls is the owner of the tractor stopped the regen causing the cel to come on thus needing service...Time will tell I guess....one good thing is I have 6yrs unlimited hour warranty ..hopefully I don’t need it!

I've had a smoking and regen issue a little over a year ago, and then had a injector issue last month. They replaced the injectors and determined that was the cause of the previous issues. Other than that a couple of none mechanical issues of which all were taken care of. Only issue I have is my local dealer closed , when the owner past away, leaving me with a two hour one way trip to the next closest dealers of which there are four to chose from in that distance.

Not in great detail, but I did ask about the warranty and was told powertrain warranty for 6yrs unlimited hours. I did briefly read the several warranty papers and do recall seeing a list of things that are covered...too many to list....

Sorry I was adding to my post and the warranty thing I was talking about got deleted some how. Basically what I was getting at was going to be was if the tractor is Tier 4 then a lot more is still covered under the emissions part of the warranty, if it's not their 4 then after the bumper to bumper, then a lot of things are not covered such as fuel pump, injectors , sensors and such.

I bought the CK2610 vs the larger engines strictly for lack of regen. I knew I would rarely miss the added HP for the work I do (but its not easy work) but I do admit killing the engine a few times!

I used my 2610 for mostly for tilling and blowing snow...a little logging and clearing brush...I have a 5’ tiller and a 64” Puma 3pth blower.... I never stalled the engine out but did have it labour under heavy load...just learned to take it slower when conditions warranted....I’m hoping the extra 10hp might make big difference

Haven’t had a chance to till with it yet and won’t until the spring but for a 72 inch finish mower and a Bush Hog it’s been awesome cutting some stuff that probably shouldn’t have been cut with either of those! Fuel burn has been a bit higher than expected but I also have an hour or so of road transport time at nearly top speed which probably burns a lot more fuel as well.
