CK20 HST 3pt won't lift

While moving some concrete in the bucket I lowered the 3pt and now it won't lift. I had to unhook the implement on the back to put the tractor back in the barn. I do not have remotes nor have I ever hooked up any hydraulic implements. I tried turning the drop valve either way but no change. Never had an issue before except that sometimes before it's warmed up the 3pt will bounce. Everything else seems to work fine. Any ideas?

Does your loader work normally?

Make sure the 3 point lever linkage bolts are tight. Follow the linkage to where it goes into the tractor. I have seen them come loose before causing the 3 point to not lift.

Loader works normally without any issue. Checked linkage and it looks like all is secure and tight. All linkage is moving as it should. I'm stumped.

Complete shot in the dark. disconnect your loader hydraulic connections and see if the 3pt hitch starts to work. Then you'll have removed everything from the hydraulic system bar the 3pt hitch - for troubleshooting best not to have anything else possibly muddying up the waters.

Dumb question - is yo hydraulic level OK?

Second question - follow the linkage form the hydraulic handle under you stet, to see if it is still attached to the valve. It may turn, the valve may not.

I had the same thing happen to me the rear 3pt hitch was not moving. I thought to myself this is odd cause it was working fine the day before. After thinking of what the cause would be I decided to check the knob on the floor that adjust the speed of the 3pt hitch and sure enough it was closed. I figured I must of turned it off with my foot so was happy to see the 3pt hitch go up as soon as I turned the knob a bit. So this is one place to look at first before pulling your hair out of your head trying to figure out what the problem. lol

Make sure a rear remote lever didn't get bumped into detent and make sure the lowering-speed knob (between feet) didn't get turned too far closed. Both will inactivate the 3-point and I've accidentally done both. The lever in detent (with nothing connected) can damage the hydraulic system if left there too long.

It just started working again on its own. Weird. Willl see if it acts up again.

Could of been a airlock in the system. Who knows like you said see if it happens again.
