CK20 HST Hydraulic Fluid squirting out dipstick

I have a Kioti CK20 HST. Hydraulic fluid and filter were changed at 200hrs and it is now at 360hrs. In the last few days when I stop the tractor after doing some light bucket work or mowing with brush hog, Hydraulic fluid gushes out from under the dipstick with enough force to push the dipstick out above the stopper. I read once about a hydraulic venting problem and tried removing the filler cap before I turn the tractor off. Often this takes care of the problem, but not always. I have not been able to find out where and what type of vent the system has so I check for a problem there. Can anyone guide me to the vent location and or offer any advice on what could be causing this problem? Thanks

It is the same thing on my CK27. It is red on mine.

Go to the back of the tractor and look under the seat and there you will see an upside down J hook which is the breather. Clean it out and you should be just fine. Your tractor does not have the breather in the fill cap like most Kioti tractors do.

Did the original poster ever figure this out?

I had this exact problem when a mud wasp built a nest and clogged the J-hook vent under the seat.
You have to look really close back there as it's easy to miss. I think you can remove the J-hook for cleaning by maybe unscrewing it.

Wow -- I remember that problem from a long time ago.
I never had any such further problems -- I'm over 400 hours now and tractor is over 8 years old.

I have no complaints with my machine -- love it.

I know it has been a while.... 3 years but I ran across so pics I had of where the J hook vent is on the CK20H. I was a little bit of a dufas and could not find it when looking under the seat of my tractor. I took off the seat and the housing and could not find anything that looked like a J. Well a little while later I stumbled across the parts diagrams for the CK20 and found an image of the hydraulic cylinder body showing the J vent. I know it was a "forest for the trees" thing but just to provide additional help to anyone who has the same problem I want to add these pics. Mine was actually more under the gas tank than under the seat. Cleaned it out and have not hand any problem since then.

Ok, I have the same problem listed here. My 2011 CK20S HST has 800 hours on it and it having the same issue. Unfortunately, I cannot locate the "J" shaped ventilation device anywhere. I was hoping it was as shown in the pictures, but no. I've searched under the seat base and find nothing. Does anyone with a 2011 or newer model year know the location of this vent? Can someone provide the exact name for the device, as I haven't been able to find it in the shop manual either. Any advice or assistance would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I'm having the same issue with my 2011 ck20s hst tractor. I've been unable to locate the vent either under the seat or in the back as shown in another post. I'd appreciate if someone could provide the exact name for this part, if known, or other locations on the tractor. I've searched and searched and come up empty. The shop manual I have doesn't even identify the part that I can determine. Thanks for any/all help!
