CK20 now parked in my garage!

Hey Rollerskate! I noticed your from CT. Can I ask where you purchased your CK20? I'm in the process of pricing out a new machine from the two dealers located in CT. The dealer in Bridgewater appears to be very high. The dealer in Old Saybrook has better pricing but he's only been a dealer since January. Thanks

I got it from the Bridgewater dealer. I had been there a few times during the last year. Started with looking at the LK's but really liked the DK style. So I contacted Kioti customer service to see if the LK's were being considered for a style change. They told me about the CK's, almost 1 year ago, so I decided just to wait. I went back to Campbell's a few weeks ago. I decided based on the fact that 1) they have been around a long time. They were Kubota dealers at one point but saw the light and went Kioti. 2) I believed them to be very honest. If they were not sure or did not know something they just said so. No stories. 3) I also sort of hung around their store and just listened to how the handled customers. They treated everyone the same and always gave each one whatever time was necessary to make the customer happy. So, even if I was going to pay a bit more for the tractor I felt very comfortable with who I was going to purchase it from. Turns out I seem to have gotten a very nice deal though. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Come "more" rain or shine I'm take this puppy our this weekend.

I stopped to see the Bridgewater dealer about 3 weeks ago. I called him first and asked if he had ordered any CK20's yet and he said matter of fact just got one in for a customer and your welcome to come down to take a look at it before it's delivered. Nice machine! I was impressed I have owned 2 bota's and was looking at another (B7500) but I realy like the CK20. He gave me a price of 12.5 for the gear and 13.5 for the HST both with loaders and R-4's without cst. The Old Saybrook dealer was $1500.00 less on both machines. Your price looks alot better than what I received? Did you have to beat him up for that price? He does seem like a nice guy to work with. Thanks for the info

trelect,

No I did not have to haggle at all. Maybe because I got the FEL and backhoe he had something more to work with. Like margins are better for the implements. Maybe because I was the first. Maybe when he quoted me the numbers they were not yet finalized. Not sure. Though $1,500 less from the other guy is a pretty nice saving. Maybe they will match it or at least come down a good amount. Can't hurt to ask.
