ck20 owner-just a question?

I am a new owner of a ck20 hst ,I was just woundering,has there ever been a head to toe comparision of the big companies (deere .nh,kubuto.etc) to kioti.I do love mine very much and I tell everyone I know what a nice tractor it is ,but I would love to at least have more info on how others feel ,i.e. the pro's.Thanks ,Harry ,Tehachapi,Ca

Have owned my CK20hst for over 1 year and had minor problems, but all fixed by my dealer. This little machine has done everything asked of it and more. If was going to buy another machine, would buy the same one again. But need a bigger machine so am going to buy the DK45 with cab. And the wife is going to keep the 20 for her to use.

There are several comparisons to the Kubtoa B7510 and the CK pretty much dominates that comparison except as a dedicated mower. That is not exactly fair to Kubota as the B series is long overdue for a revamping while the CK20 is only a few years old. Loader on the CK is much more powerful and the CK is more fully featured with things like a suspension seat and position control.

The CK doesn't match up directly to any of the JD line though as the small JDs have more HP but are smaller and have less lifting capacity and weight.

I've not done or seen a comparison with the smaller NH models.

The TYM 273 compares well with the CK20 although it is somewhat smaller but with more HP like the JDs.

The equivalent HP Mahindra, I forget the designation ??2315, also compares favorably with the CK20.

I owned mine for two years and was only jealous of significantly bigger tractors with 30 and more HP. The CK20 is a great tractor and I think is still the one to beat for value and performance under 30hp.

I wouldn't say the DK40se is more versatile but it is certainly lots more powerful. For my purposes, clearing brush largely, it allows me to clear about 3-4 times as much per hour mostly because the loader is strong enough to rip bushes and small trees out of the ground in one step rather than needing to "work" at them with the smaller tractor. Bigger mower and bigger backhoe also speed things up. With the exception of lifting some large rocks that I couldn't lift with the CK20 however there is no specific task I can do with the DK that I couldn't do with more time and the CK.

Thanks IslandTractor, I didn't mean to hijack the thread. I saw pictures of your new setup in another thread, and it does look more suitable for the clearing that you are involved in. I think the CK20 is a nice setup too.

I loved the CK20 TLB I had and it was all I needed for 5 acres even though a lot of that was brush that needed clearing. When the clearing project bumped up to about 20acres total it just seemed more reasonable to upgrade to a larger machine. I don't think either machine is better than the other, just different sizes and capacities.
